Only the Taser StrikeLight is rechargeable. However, the batteries on all other Tasers are user-replaceable and provide enough energy for many uses.
Do the probes need to hit a specific area to be effective?
Tasers will work anywhere on the body. As long as current is flowing through muscles, the attacker will lose control of said muscles.
